Courage Crew Co was born from a simple observation: kids do incredibly hard things every single day, and no one makes apparel that actually celebrates that.
Not trophies for winning. Not ribbons for finishing. Just honest recognition that growing up — navigating new teachers, new classrooms, new social rules every single year — takes real courage.
Chief Courage Officer, Courage Crew Co
Every year, kids walk into a new classroom with a new teacher, new classmates, new rules, new expectations. They face standardized tests and social hierarchies and homework that suddenly got harder. They get nervous. They sometimes cry. And then they show up again the next day.
"Being brave doesn't mean being fearless. It means doing the scary thing anyway — and kids do that every single morning."
We looked at the apparel market for kids and found two categories: sports teams and generic "cute." Nothing that said I did something hard and I'm proud of it.
So we built Courage Crew Co. Milestone-specific designs, grade by grade, starting from the very first day of Pre-K all the way through 5th grade graduation. Every design carries the same message: you're braver than you think, and you've got the Crew behind you.
The character at the center of it all is Courageous Cori — a mascot who isn't about perfection or trophies. Cori is about showing up, trying hard, and making it through. That's the kind of role model we wanted on every shirt.
Character art coming soon —
but the courage is already here.
Cori isn't a superhero. Cori doesn't have powers. Cori is just a kid — a kid who gets nervous, makes mistakes, and keeps going anyway. That's the whole point.
Every Courage Crew design features Cori doing what kids do every day: facing the unknown, rising to the challenge, and making it look (at least a little bit) easy.
Because the best role models aren't fearless. They're the ones who felt the fear and walked in the door anyway.
Even when the stomach butterflies are real. Especially then.
Because finishing a whole school year is genuinely an accomplishment.
Nobody grows up alone. Every kid who wears these is in the club.
Generic "cute" is easy. Milestone-specific, character-driven, empowerment-first apparel for every grade — that's what Courage Crew Co is building.
Every shirt is a reminder: you did something hard. You showed up. You're part of the Crew.
Not generic "school is great" apparel. Designs tied to specific grades and moments — because every milestone is different.
Every design roots for the kid wearing it. Not trophies for winning — recognition for showing up and trying.
Print-on-demand means fresh quality every time. No overproduction, no waste, no clearance rack full of shirts nobody wanted.
